A projected release date is DOC’s present sentence calculation. It can reflect sentence length, credited custody time, earned credits, and rules tied to the conviction. An actual release is the recorded event after staff resolve current orders, holds, and custody destinations. A proposed parole date is attached to parole processing. Maximum expiration is another sentence field. Those labels answer different questions.
A Garrard pretrial detainee at Lincoln or Boyle usually lacks a computed sentence-release date. Bond, dismissal, a new order, or case disposition controls that person’s path. Even an order may not produce immediate community release when another detainer applies.

KOOL can refresh during the day, yet DOC warns that newer case material may not be finalized. A search result should therefore be treated as a dated public record, not a permanent calculation.
Read Garrard County KOOL Status
A date must be read beside the person’s current location and supervision status. An institution or jail location points toward physical custody. A numbered Probation and Parole district may show that the person has left prison but remains under community supervision. Garrard County belongs to District 14, which has a Lancaster satellite. An “ABSCONDED” marker does not show a successful discharge. It means the person is alleged to have left supervision without authorization and may face a warrant.
KOOL can also show conviction counties, sentence lengths, institution or supervision begin dates, maximum expiration, and a parole table. Match the DOC or PID number before combining any of those fields. A person can have a local jail record and a DOC record at the same time. Garrard County Sentence Credits
KRS 197.045 provides several forms of credit. It incorporates prior-confinement credit under KRS 532.120. It permits ninety days for approved diploma, degree, or technical achievements and up to ninety days for approved treatment, evidence-based, promising-practice, or life-skills programs. It also permits discretionary good-behavior credit up to ten days per month served and exceptional meritorious or emergency credit up to seven days per month.

There is no sourced Garrard weekend-early-release rule or county good-time policy. Boyle’s weekend bond acceptance concerns payment when court is closed, not a rule moving a sentence expiration to Friday.
